Perhaps this was my fault. I must have had something to consume before starting on the first book. Practically from the start, I would start to read, and the more descriptive the passages about the food, the more I discovered myself raiding the fridge. I was so engrossed in the descriptions that I didn't even recognize that I was holding the book in one hand and opening the fridge with the other hand.
